It's Jake's birthd-hay.
Today is my horse's birthday! Jake doesn't have a very good sense of time, so when I told him it was his birthday, he was flabbergasted. The conversation went a little something like this.
Me: Hey Jake. Guess what? Today is your birthday!
Jake: (Chew, chew, chew) Heh?
Me: Seriously. It's your birthday!
Jake: My birthday? You're kidding! Woohhhaaahhaaaheee!
Jake: I love birthdays! Wait.....does this mean I get cake?
Me: Umm.... no. Sorry.
Jake: Pppptttthhhppphhhtttt. You stink.
Me: Yeah, sorry 'bout that. But I'll probably post some pictures of you on the blog in your honor. Ready? Look handsome....
Jake: How'd I look? Pretty good? Did I have anything in my teeth? I feel like there might have been something in my teeth.
Me: Uh....Nope. That was perfect. You look great.
Jake: HA! Birthdays are cool.
Jake: Wow. I am AWESOME! Now go get me some cake.

Uuuukkkkeeeee! My shoes will be on May 7th. You know I'll be galloping circles around you, old guy. This morning I decided to go see my neighbors across the fence and took a huge leap over the stream! Then I snorted and whinnied and stuff. I think I kind of scared myself. I forgot I could jump like that.
